Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her parents were her mother, who was a housewife and a father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick began singing and performing in the early years of her life. At the age 6, McCormick won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask if the actress would be keen to work in show business. McCormick was offered her first major job when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It up until It Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 200 auditioned kids, played the older of three two-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick wrote in her book from 2008 Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she nearly lost her virginity during the fifth season of the show with Barry Williams, her co-star and brother on screen. She was just 16 when the incident occurred; he was 19. The woman said it might have been possible, but we didn't have the proper timing.
